Always such a go to place! Never have been disappointed, their specials are always unique. Their portions are hearty and if you ask for anything split in half they do it so well. 11/10 recommend, a buffalo staple in my opinion. I love getting a meatball as an app, I recommend asking for an extra piece of focaccia bread for the sauce :)

We took a drive yesterday and ended up on Allen street in Buffalo. We stopped in not knowing anything about Cafe 59. Rob the bartender was great! The food was amazing and the beers and cocktails were delicious. We will be back! Thank you so much

This place was awesome, and the server was lovely. The fingers were the perfect level of crispy covered in sauce, and the asian salad had a delicious dressing on it. I also had a good beer-- don't remember which one, but it was dark and good.

Café 59 is my go-to for a reasonably priced spontaneous meal. Soups, salads, sandwiches, and specials are always fresh and reliable. Order the polenta “wings” with Buffalo sauce as an appetizer. They have great cocktails and are open on Sundays, which is rare in the city.

A lovely place for a cocktail and quality food. Ordered the hot honey chicken grilled cheese and it was delicious. Drinks will run you $13 to $16. Outdoor patio is really nice in the summer time. Service was great. Would stop back again!

The best tadting Soursop Seamoss I ever had! Service is ALWAYS respectful and kind. Feels like community here. Always greeted with a smile and effort to get it right. Keep up the good work Sunshine Vegan Eats

Very kind staff and a very safe place for people with disabilities and service animals. They do their due diligence in making sure that only service animals are allowed, and not animals that are still in training. That alone is enough for the five stars, as I cannot remember the last time a place with a no pets policy actually was willing to enforce it at all, much less understand the difference between a service animal and one in training. The staff was additionally very understanding that I had difficulty holding glasses with liquids, and tried their best to accommodate despite not having plastic straws. I just about always have plastic straws on me as I cannot successfully use other alternatives, but I hadn't realized that day that I had run out. I was instead given a cup with a handle that I could more easily use for my water. Would definitely recommend this place to other disabled individuals. Just make sure to bring straws.

We ordered takeout from here a few weeks ago. Everything was incredible! I loved the chicken pot pie soup, it was so delicious. We also got a salad and a pasta dish. Salad had fresh vegetables with a delicious ranch dressing. Pasta looked much better once the sauce was mixed in!

I was introduced to Cafe 59 a few years ago by a family member and I have to say that this is one of the best restaurants in Buffalo. I have never been disappointed with the service, food, or drinks. I usually try something different every time I go there and there is plenty on their menu to choose from. The restaurant is very welcoming of everyone and they offer food to fit many eating lifestyles. If you are ever on Allen Street be sure to check this place out.
